2332 ABORT With this system configuration (unduplicated PNC), the test cannot run at<br />

the far end when there is only one DS1-FAC available. The link would be<br />

lost, and no test results would be seen at the server. Run the test at the<br />

other end of the DS1C complex.<br />

2500 ABORT Internal system error<br />

1. Retry the command at 1-minute intervals up to 3 times.<br />

FAIL Far-end lightwave transceiver loopback failed. A problem exists between<br />

the DS1 converter A and the lightwave transceiver connected to the DS1<br />

converter B (see previous diagram).<br />

1. If there are facilities that are not digital-data compatible, busyout the<br />

facilities with busyout ds1-facility.<br />

2. Enter display errors and follow the associated repair procedures<br />

for any on-board DS1C-BD (DS1 Converter Circuit Pack) errors on<br />

this DS1 converter circuit pack and the DS1 converter circuit pack at<br />

the other end of the DS1 converter complex.<br />

3. Enter display errors and follow the associated repair procedures<br />

for any DS1-FAC (DS1 Facility) errors.<br />

4. Check the DS1 Converter Measurements Report to see if there are<br />

facilities with excessive errors. Enter list measurements<br />

ds1-facility summary. If there are facilities with excessive<br />

errors, run the Far-End Internal Loopback test (#797) on those<br />

facilities, and follow the repair procedures described for the Far-End<br />

Internal Loopback Test (#797).<br />

5. If the test still fails, replace the lightwave transceiver device that is<br />

connected to the DS1 converter circuit pack at the other end of the<br />

DS1 converter complex.<br />

6. If the test still fails, replace the DS1 converter circuit pack at the other<br />

end of the DS1 converter complex.<br />

7. If the test still fails, replace this DS1 converter circuit pack.<br />
