1040 ABORT This test is not performed for trunk ports administered as access<br />

endpoints.<br />

1. Verify this port is an access endpoint by using display port.<br />

2. If the port has been administered as an access endpoint, then<br />

this test should abort and no action is necessary.<br />

2000 ABORT<br />

or FAIL<br />

Seizure message is not received back within 10 seconds.<br />

1. Retry the command at 1-minute intervals a maximum of 5 times.<br />

2. If the test continues to fail, check the far-end to ensure a<br />

translation match at both ends.<br />

3. Check the facility.<br />

2100 ABORT Could not allocate the necessary system resources to run the test.<br />

This could be due to a failure to seize the port.<br />

1. Retry the command at 1-minute intervals up to 5 times.<br />

PASS The seizure test passes. This port is functioning properly.<br />

1. If users are reporting troubles, examine loop connections to the<br />

port, wiring, and stations.<br />

second part checks the M lead electronic power feed current flow.<br />
