3. If list configuration power-supply C does show a power<br />

supply, extend the TDM/LAN/Serial Bus to another carrier, and<br />

repeat the procedure in the previous step. When a carrier that<br />

causes the fault to recur is added, perform Procedure 1 for only the<br />

circuit packs in that carrier.<br />

4. If list configuration power-supply C fails to show any<br />

power supplies, and Procedures 1 and 2 have not resolved the<br />

problem, the added carrier(s) are defective and must be replaced.<br />

5. If the Serial Bus repair procedures were unsuccessful, replace the<br />

TN2312BP IPSI circuit pack.<br />

6. If all else fails, and there is only one power supply in the system,<br />

replace the power supply.<br />

PASS At least one power supply responded to a status query from the<br />

TN2312BP IPSI.<br />

Emergency Transfer Query Test (#1532)<br />

The Emergency Transfer Query Test queries the maintenance module on the TN2312BP IPSI<br />

to determine if Emergency Transfer is set in MANUAL-ON or MANUAL-OFF mode. If<br />

Emergency Transfer is set to MANUAL-ON, a major alarm is generated. If Emergency Transfer<br />

is set to MANUAL-OFF, a warning alarm is generated.<br />

This test is run on CAB-EXFR (Emergency Transfer).<br />
