239 FAIL The SNI Endpoint 2 is assigned to be connected to a DS1 converter, but is<br />

not physically connected to one.<br />

1. Enter list fiber-link to see a fiber link’s endpoints.<br />

If this SNI endpoint should be connected to a DS1 converter:<br />

1. Enter list fiber-link to verify that the fiber-optic cable and/or<br />

metallic cable connections are installed as assigned.<br />

If not, change administration to remove the DS1 converter complex from<br />

the SNI’s fiber link:<br />

1. Enter list fiber-link to locate this SNI endpoint’s fiber<br />

2. Enter remove fiber-link for this SNI endpoint’s fiber<br />

3. Enter add fiber-link to replace the fiber without assigning the<br />

DS1 converter complex.<br />

240 FAIL The SNI Endpoint 2 is physically connected to a DS1 converter, but is not<br />

assigned to be connected to one.<br />

1. Enter list fiber-link to display a fiber link’s endpoints.<br />

Either replace the DS1 converter with fiber:<br />

1. Enter list fiber-link to verify that the fiber-optic and metallic<br />

cable connections are installed as assigned<br />

2. Disconnect the SNI endpoint from the DS1 converter<br />

3. Enter add fiber-link to reconnect the SNI to its assigned fiber<br />

or<br />

Add a DS1 converter complex to the SNI’s fiber:<br />

1. Enter list fiber-link to locate this SNI endpoint’s fiber<br />

2. Enter remove fiber-link for this SNI endpoint’s fiber<br />

3. Enter add fiber-link to replace the fiber and to assign the DS1<br />

Converter complex<br />

PASS The administered data and the circuit packs the SNI(s) can communicate<br />

with match.<br />
