LEDs<br />

S8700 <strong>Server</strong> LEDs<br />

The S8700 <strong>Server</strong> has an LED called Active/Standby which indicates whether the server is the<br />

active server or the standby server. When the Active/Standby LED is on steadily, the server is<br />

the active server. When the Active/Standby LED is flashing, this indicates that the server is the<br />

standby server.<br />

Using the <strong>Server</strong> Web interface, click Diagnostics > Test <strong>Server</strong> LEDs to ensure that the<br />

Active/Standby LED on the server and the transmit LED on the Duplication Memory board are<br />

controllable and not burned out, and that the server is not hung.<br />
