Communication Manager Maintenance Object Repair Procedures<br />

- A condition that caused the system to enter License-Error mode has not been corrected<br />

or resolved, and the countdown timer has expired.<br />

- The switch returns to License-Normal mode when every license error is cleared.<br />

Login Warning Messages<br />

Anyone logging onto the SAT (System Administration Terminal) when the system is in<br />

License-Error or No-License mode, receives a warning message stating the system’s Licence<br />

mode, depending on the conditions. Table 258: Error messages and repair procedures shows<br />

the 3 license modes, the warning message, describes the error conditions, and lists the<br />

recommended repair procedures.<br />

Stable running condition<br />

If you log in to the server through the SAT, a message<br />

reads: “System Administration Will Be Blocked in<br />

Approximately XXX hours. Contact Your Service<br />

Representative.” Communication Manager functions<br />

normally for 'XXX' hours, at which time the system<br />

goes into No-License mode.<br />

One of the following conditions is present:<br />

● Serial number reference source not<br />

responding.<br />

● The License file expired.<br />

● Feature use does not match the License file.<br />

If you log in to the server through the SAT, a message<br />

reads: “System Administration Is Blocked. Contact<br />

Your Service Representative Immediately.”<br />

One of the following conditions is present:<br />

● No License file is installed in the system.<br />

● The License-Error timer expired.<br />
