1004 ABORT ALARM-PT: The port received an EXT-DEV failure during the test. The<br />

test has been aborted.<br />

1. Enter test external-device-alarm port location to<br />

determine whether the port is reporting an EXT-DEV failure.<br />

2. If the port has no EXT-DEV failures, retry the command at 1-minute<br />

intervals up to 5 times<br />

All other Maintenance Objects: The port was seized by a valid call<br />

during the test.<br />

1. Enter display port location to determine the station<br />

extension or trunk group/member number of the port.<br />

2. Enter status station or status trunk to determine the<br />

service state of the port. If the port is active, wait until it is idle.<br />

3. Retry the command at 1-minute intervals up to 5 times.<br />

4. If the test continues to abort and the port is not in use, escalate the<br />

problem.<br />

1005 ABORT This test is not applicable for this type of port. Ignore this error.<br />
