Relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Job Performance among
Teachers.

The study aims to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and job
performance among teachers. The studies hypothesize there is a significant
relationship between emotional intelligence and job performance A survay method
using self-administered questionnaire is adopted to gather data from 250 respondents
are randomly selected from Parlimen Petaling Jaya Selatan secondary schools,
Selangor. A set of questionnaire consisted of 75 items measure intelligence emotional
while 6 items measure job performance. Using "Statistical Package of Social Sciences"
(SPSS) 25.0, min, frequency and percentage are used to measure levels of job
performance. The descriptive analysis is used to analyze demographic profiling of
respondents and levels of performance. Meanwhile, correlation, multiple regression,
and t-test are used to measure the relationship between emotional intelligence and
performance and the difference of job performance regarding genders.
