Indoor air quality is recognized in affecting human health especially to children. The
level of indoor contaminants might be distinct for different land use. Indoor air is more
important than ambient air quality because the students spent almost 90% their daily
time indoor either at home. Failure to do this study will disturb the performance of
children in their learning process. This study assessed indoor air quality at commercial
and institutional areas in terms of physical and chemical parameters. Sampling was
conducted during learning session (7.45 a.m-12.45 p.m.) for three school days and
