The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of two factors in the
Contribution of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME’s) to the Growth Domestic Product
(GDP) in Malaysia. There are two factors that has been used in this research which is the
total of Labour and Consumer Price Index in Malaysia for the past 10 years from 2005 to
2014. The data that have been collected was a secondary data. The data was analysed
using Simple Linear Regression method. The result shown that the two factors was highly
influence the Contribution of SME’s to the GDP. This study suggest that the government
can create an initiative for SME’s to help increase GDP in Malaysia.
