The objectives of this paper is to study the secondary port potential growth at Northern<br />

Region, Peninsular Malaysia by analyzing the most selected criteria that involved. A total<br />

of 5 respondents were selected as the sample of the study and the data was analyze<br />

using the Analytical Hierarchy Process and Evidential Reasoning were used in this study<br />

by considering seven criteria, namely: 1) Port Size, 2) Infrastructure and Facilities, 3)<br />

Capacity of Cargo Handled, 4) Logistic Services, 5) Vessel Size, 6) Vessel Traffic, and 7)<br />

Distribution Function. A case study is selected in the secondary port at Northern Corridor<br />

Economic Region (NCER), 1) Lumut Port, Perak 2) Tanjung Lembung, Langkawi 3) Teluk<br />

Ewa, Langkawi.<br />
