Wawasan Perdana ferry was the oldest ferry that still operate to bring the passengers
from Menumbok to the Labuan. Since the newcomer such as MV Putrajaya and MV
Kimanis ferries, the number of passengers on the ferry services decrease year by year.
In this research, can help the Wawasan Perdana ferry to operate more efficient and give
better service to the passengers to overcome the decrease of passenger’s problem. The
objectives are to investigate the factors that contribute the decrease of passengers
effecting by operation of Ro-Ro ships, to rank the factor that affecting the decrease
number of passengers and then to recommend the best way to improve the Ro-Ro ships
operation. I read the case study and ask the expert opinion to identify the factors that
contribute the decrease of passengers. Next, I distribute the questionnaire to the
passengers of Wawasan Perdana ferry and then use the Mean Average Method or
Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) method for calculation. Last, I ask the
expert opinion and my opinion based on the results from analysis data. The result will
show how the passengers think about the ferry service and how to help to improve the
operation of the ferry at the future.
