The development of technology is becoming more widely used in all areas. Previously,
the administrator in the management department of the Tropical Aquaculture Institute of
University Malaysia Terengganu only provides the booking form that need to be filled in
by the applicant. There are many weakness in manual system such as slow booking
process. To solve this problem, the development of Aquatic Laboratory and Hatchery
Equipment Reservation System is done. The system is built to simplify the booking
process of Aquatic Laboratory and Hatchery equipment in UMT and makes the system
more systematic. In fact, the system is also designed to have several user friendly
features such as easy to use. The system is developed using waterfall model which have
systematic arrangement for the construction of a system. With this system, students can
make laboratory and equipment reservation via online and approval process is done
directly into the system.
