A Case Study: The Analysis of Imbalance Cargo Performance Throughput
at Kuantan Port

The imbalance of cargo performance in maritime industry has existing numerous of
problem and it can influence the port developing. The imbalance of cargo performance
can give one impact to the performance of the port operation. The purpose of this
research is to study the factors that influencing imbalance of cargo performance, the
impact from imbalance of cargo performance and to develop the strategies to maintain
cargo performance at Kuantan Port. To achieve the research objectives, the data has
been collected through questionnaire and interview with several department of
Kuantan Port. The researcher analyzes the data to get the result in SPSS software
within using analysis of descriptive analysis. The result has been show that the
responses of respondent from department of Kuantan Port help the researcher achieve
the research objectives regarding the imbalance of cargo performance at Kuantan
Port. The result obtained can make the researcher get the recommendations or
solution in solving the problem regarding the imbalance of cargo performance.
