Smart Customer Service in Hospital Using Raspberry Pi

This research is driven by patients who expects shorter queuing time and by hospital
managements to enhance the level of customer service in the hospital. The project is
using a microcontroller which is the raspberry pi to act as a host which uses a database
to store information and generate a queue sequence. To store the information in a
database, MySQL was used as it is an online open source database that allows users
to store and retrieve the information at will. The graphical user interface (GUI) is then
created using the QT + software that connect the hospital management to the database
using the internet. The well-known QT software is used as it has the corresponding
libraries which adhere to the required libraries in the MySQL database. It is expected
the user friendly smart Customer Service developed in this work will improve the
patient experience while visiting in the hospital.
