4. CONCLUSIONES<br />

Las dolomitas de Olavarría poseen características mineralógicas, químicas, granulométricas y superficie<br />

específica, que las hacen aptas para la fabricación del material refractario MgO-CaZrO3, por reacción en<br />

fase sólida con circonia a altas temperaturas.<br />

La combinación de las técnicas DRX y FTIR permitió estudiar en forma completa la evolución de las<br />

fases durante la cocción. Se pudo estimar que la temperatura óptima para la preparación del material sería<br />

1400 °C. Los principales coproductos obtenidos son ZrO2(ss) y β-CS2.<br />
