Wassmer’s entire exquisite range. This winemaker
does not even try to imitate that French
idol over the border, instead he creates an autonomous
interpretation of the local conditions
and his various terroirs and soils of limestone
and volcanic formations. He has Burgundy in
his sights, but his feet are firmly on Markgräfler
ground: a wonderful way of flourishing!

Spicy wood notes, discreet yellow fruit and sesame. On the palate
there is a powerful dose of fine phenolics, with stringent accompanying
acidity and an interplay of these elements despite the
high density. Chalky mineral finish. A Burgundian blueprint with

Golden in colour. Lush scents, Turkish delight, ripe yellow fruit
and chestnut puree. On the palate, generous volume, opulent
and poised, plump and smooth, but also with an almost raisin-like,
condensed, yet fine acidity. A bold wine!

On the palate there is a soft base and a firm, clearly chalky
mineral core. Well-integrated, but also long-lasting acidity. A
lot of juice and elegance, spicy, mineral Pinot.

Starts with aromas of dark chocolate, then herbal notes followed
by Amarena cherry and sultana. On the palate there
are massive, ripe, slightly drying tannins, a powerful palate,
but also great extraction fullness, ripe acidity. Smooth texture,
