Herbert and Steffen Reinecker know
what they are doing: ever since 1987
all grapes of this Privat-Sektkellerei
have been turned into sparkling wines. While
the family is deeply-rooted in Auggen, in the
subregion of Markgräflerland, their horizon
reaches far beyond. Right from the start, Champagne
has been their stylistic point of reference.
More recently, the wines have gained even more
luminosity and precision: the “3-Lagen”, i.e.
three sites, set is fabulous, pitching the terroirs
of the Badenweiler Römerberg, the Auggener
Schäf and the Feuerbacher Steingässle against
each other: an exciting and magnificent contest.

Pinot Noir extra brut
Burgundy berry with some patina, iodine-spiciness and apple
peel. Very fine mousse, full-bodied, firm acidity, profound
mineral foundation, a Pinot sparkling wine with mineral
depth. Very well-timed in the harvest and very well-matched
with reserve wines. 12 Vol.-%. cork, €€

Pinot Noir extra brut
Strongly yeasty, restrained fruit. Comparatively full-bodied
on the palate, fine, persistent mousse, lively, but also ripe
acidity. Exceptionally powerful tactile minerality, enigmatic,
will mature very well. First notions of spice appear in the finish.

Pinot Noir extra brut
A touch of colour, even a very slight reddish shimmer and
more berry on the nose. Very Pinot. Suppleness, but also
freshness. Rather restrained acidity, fine, creamy fading
mousse, plus some substance, structurally tart, but then finally
also some sweetness. 12 Vol.-%. cork

Pinot Noir extra brut
Apple peel, redcurrants and delicate notes of yeast. Immediately
chalky on the palate, fresh mousse, delicate sweetness,
light impression, lively acidity, medium weight in extract and
body, seems chiselled and polished; compact in the finish
with juicy berry fruit. 12 Vol.-%. cork
