Thanks to the culinary talents of Rebecca
Kremer, the Kremer family winery
has been turned into a gastronomic
hotspot of the Zeller valley. Of course, this
also is a showcase for the wines they make; not
only are these eminently and undeniably suited
for the table, the current vintages also show
a beautiful balance between mineral focus and
unarguably present varietal fruit. Since the
family took the estate over in 2013, the Bremer
sisters and oenologist Michael Acker have
also replanted the vineyards – the best is yet to
come.

Riesling trocken
Citrus-scented, balsamic, limestone notes, coriander
seed, cardamom, complex and fresh. Vivid, rich palate,
slightly phenolic, delicate acidity, a tense palate layered
with aromatic terpenes; robust and profound.

Discreet wood, very closed, with notes of flax, wet chalk and
limestone. On the palate there is an equanimity that balances
supple motifs with a taut acidity and a texture that intensifies
on the finish. Ends compact, dense, gripping.

Sauvignon Blanc trocken
Very reserved on the nose, tangerine, mirabelle, a hint of varietal
spiciness, but nothing loud. A little lime. Ripe and round
on the palate with a chalky texture and sweet fruit. Well integrated
acidity and mineral notes refresh the palate.

Pinot Noir trocken
Black cherry and plum, smooth and even creamy on the palate,
then marked by dense, grainy tannins, strong alcohol but
mild acidity - very extract-driven. Bay leaf and juniper on the
finish, will be able to age for many years.

A fragrance that shows more limestone than variety. The
characteristics are definitely Auxerrois with notes of sesame
and hay. Medium-bodied on the palate, well proportioned
with ripe acidity. An unobtrusive food wine.
