keep going full throttle. They took the
estate over from their father Martin
Heinrich in summer 2017. Their textured and
minerally-underpinned Weissburgunder underscores
their ambition as much as the dense,
layered and spicy red wines. Especially the perfectly-balanced
Spätburgunder from the
Heilbronner Löwenherz counts amongst the
best of its kind in Württemberg – but the
“Dieb” with its fine-grained tannins and the
striking Löwenherz-Lemberger impress as
well. If they carry on like that we can expect
great things from the Heinrichs!

Air contact is required and then lees ageing dominates the
aroma. On the palate, it starts with great suppleness, almost
a creamy texture, the acidity remains restrained, but carries
the stately body very well in combination with the dense substance.

Some rose scent in the powerful aroma, then toasted aromas,
wild raspberry and also a whiff of woodruff. Shows very
good balance on the palate, the fruit is lively and clear, dry
and natural in expression and finely-polished tannins. Good
density, juice and finesse. 12,5 Vol.-%. cork, €€€

Powerful and noble blend of Blaufränkisch and Cabernet
Cubin, with aromas of cassis, elderberry, black tea, coconut
and also mint. Combines texture and relaxed elegance on the
palate, the sandy tannins are well integrated. Very good perspective.

Multi-layered scents of ripe blackberry, juniper berry, strong
toasted aromas and a hint of caramel. On the palate there is
good volume, density and a pronounced spicy character,

Engaging Pinot scent with fine spice, cherry, smoky notes
and a hint of juniper. On the palate there is good balance
between body, lively fruitiness and acidity. The acidity is
ripe and supportive with mellow tannins and herbal notes.
