Attention please! This winery, owned by
siblings Christiane Lambrich-Henrich
and Matthias Lambrich, really scores
with its dry village Riesling which – despite 14%
ABV – does not show the least trace of heat, with
its juicy and mineral Auslese and even with a
full-bodied and spicy red blend. Surprisingly, a
few years ago, such diversity would have seemed
impossible and you would certainly not have
suspected it in the Mittelrhein. All the better
then, despite all of the variation, that the core
identity of Riesling is maintained, especially
when it comes to the lighter weight classes. We
cannot wait to taste the next vintage.

Reductive fragrance but aerates positively. On the palate
juicy, taut, crunchy acidity, good density, scratchy-vegetal
finish. A fresh, slightly greenish, but, at the same time, substantial

Dark berry on the nose, semi-bitter chocolate and a note of
plum. On the palate dense, full and smooth, well-integrated
wood, juiciness with well-controlled power. The wine keeps a
Mittelrhein coolness despite its density. Great length. Can

Riesling Auslese
Subtle slate-spicy scents, delicate botrytis with notes of sultana
and candied fruit, pear and a hint of cassata. Smooth on
the palate, slightly viscous, then poised by juicy acidity and
comparatively-restrained sweetness. Mineral-juicy finish of

Riesling Spätlese
A late-harvest fragrance with lots of fragrant tropical fruit,
pineapple, banana and mango. On the palate a little more
slender than the bouquet would lead one to expect, intense
in acidity, intense in sweetness, a little carbon dioxide, minerality
with a hint of sulphur. Needs time and will eventually
emerge as brilliant. 7,5 Vol.-%. screwcap, €€
