Fischborn – born for wine!” – such is the
slogan of the industrious brothers Martin
and Erik Fischborn. Their 12-hectare
site portfolio covers three different regions:
Rheinhessen, Mosel and Nahe where
they took over vineyards in 2019. Riesling is
their speciality, so it is a boon that the different
soils lend themselves to different interpretations.
Especially the single-site Rieslings from
the Red Slope which show stature and finesse.
We are curious what else they will do.

Powerful aroma that immediately conveys the image of the
Roter Hang with herbaceous spiciness, yellow fruit and mineral
notes. On the palate there is good substance, steely
acidity, clear fruit and a mineral foundation with clear character.

Smoky notes, ripe yellow fruit and herbs, some beeswax.
Juicy on the palate with ripe acidity and texture, good levels
of extract and sweetness, full-bodied and rich, shows the
generosity of the vintage and the site, fine minerality with

Cabernet Franc trocken
Intense and spicy nose of cassis, peppers and herb garden,
wood spice and smoke, balsamic touch. On the palate, powerful
and with good strength, distinctive tannin, texture and
spice, shows substance and also finesse. 14,5 Vol.-%. cork, €€

Clear, rich yellow. Peach, apricot, tangerine and herbal spice
on the nose, rich. The palate has lots of texture, tangy acidity,
dominant citrus fruit, stone fruit, taut vein of acidity, nice
structure and length with ageing potential.
