Bergamot, orange marmalade, also floral and mineral-stony
tones. Silky flow on the palate, subtle sweetness, vivid but
not harsh acidity, lightness with expression and some carbon
dioxide. Beautiful elegance in a very restrained style.

Blood orange and violets show on the nose with ripe cherry,
beetroot and a whiff of smoke. Soft on the palate, the lively
acidity provides momentum, good quality fine tannins, still
slightly furry. Sour cherry and fine tartness on the finish, stylish.

Fresh apple compote, brown sugar, sultana and damp stone
notes. On the palate there is a fine delicacy, silky sweetness
interwoven with minerality, yet neither extremely viscous
nor really an isolated “sweetness”. A taut, “cool” Auslese with
a lightness typical of the Saar. 7,5 Vol.-%. cork, €€

A piquant slate spiciness on the nose, citrus, bergamot, vine
peach. Supple on the palate, delicate sweetness, mediumweight
in texture and extract, more in the light Saar style. A
good mineral profile and nice interplay. 8 Vol.-%. cork, €€
