Weingut Neuberger is located in
Bürgstadt in the subregion of Churfranken
and cultivates approximately
ten hectares of vineyards in the Centgrafenberg
und Hundsrück sites. About half are
planted to red varieties with Spätburgunder in
the leading role. Burkhard Neuberger and his
son Lukas vinify their estate and village wines
in stainless steel while single site wines are matured
in barrique and Halbstück barrels fashioned
from local Spessart oak. Their Spät- and
Frühburgunders show complexity and terroir,
their Silvaner is juicy and herbal. You get a lot of
bang for your buck here.

Melon on the nose followed by juicy apple, smoky aromas, floral
scents and hazelnut. Powerfully built on the palate, firm structure
from the wood ageing, creamy and with substance; the discreet
sweetness is well integrated flanked by a ripe and supporting

Spätburgunder trocken
Full aromatic nose, Amarena cherry, pleasant Pinot spice,
some cinnamon and also a hint of smoke. Powerfully structured
against a soft background, spicy and smoky, strong tannins,
still a bit drying but with lots of substance and power. A
Pinot Noir that can mature, ideal with food.

Woody notes and also hints from the Bürgstadter Hundsrück
site on the nose followed by cassis, blood orange, rosehip and
cranberry. Mineral foundations and power on a soft base, medium
density and substance with great intensity on the midpalate.
Long finish with good ageing potential.

Frühburgunder trocken
Delightful fruity nose, sour cherry, redcurrant , blackberry,
spice, some pepper and a whiff of smoke. Soft and spicy on
the palate, ripe, yet concise tannins, elegant, with fine acidity
and also minerality. Coherent structure, will continue to mature.

Ripe apple on the nose with subsequent scents of pear, yellow
fruit, hay flowers and meadow herbs. On the palate
juicy, with clear fruit and texture, slender construction, befittingly
dry and honest, good flow. Herbaceous on the finish.
Drink by itself or as a food accompaniment.
