Weingut Dackermann has been making
wine since 1913 and from 2011
onwards, Sascha Dackermann, the
fourth generation, has been responsible for
vineyard and cellar. “Our vinification is very
gentle and we only use what nature gives us
each year,” Dackermann says about his winemaking
approach. His wines show substance
and power without losing any balance, like the
smooth Riesling “vom Kalkstein” for instance.
He also creates, aromatic varieties that turn out
exquisitely well, like the varietally-typical and
fine-fruited Gelber Muskateller. A most promising

Ripe apricot and peach on the nose, classic and beautiful,
also mango and mineral hints. The acidity on the palate is
lively and buffered at the same time, clearly-defined fruit,
chalky mineral smoothness, compact stature. A grown-up

Intense nose, ripe and also cooked fruit, cherry and blackberry,
some elderberry, toasted aromas, smoke and Asian spices.
Retains plenty of freshness despite all power and substance.
The tannins are strong and slightly astringent and

Intense and spicy nose of yellow and white flowers, ripe citrus
fruit, guava and apricot, also toasty aromas. Powerful

Reddish colour in the glass, intense nose, smells strongly of
wood and roasted chestnuts, also ripe pear. On the palate
there is good substance and early signs of balance with wood
notes starting to integrate. Ripe and lively acidity, fine sweetness;

Clear, varietal nose of blade of mace, apricot, mango, lychee
and ripe gooseberry. The palate has well-defined
fruit, fine sweetness accompanied by lively acidity and
