Stahl is seen as a scintillating multi-talented,
constantly on the go, constantly
coming up with new ideas and projects. Next
to Grüner Veltliner, he now has also planted
Chenin Blanc. This winemaker turned a farm
which also engaged in a little viticulture into a
well-known winery that now farms 30 hectares
of vineyards that go beyond the vines of
Taubertal. His wines, expertly matured in
wood, also have a gastronomic bearing –
which is not surprising when you realise that
Stahl is an excellent chef, presenting ambitious
dinners at his estate. A really strong collection.

Vanilla and caramel, plus intense and delicate fruit: nectarine,
vine peach and orange peel. Massive on the palate, very
fine phenolics, stable acid backbone, almost monumental in
its fullness and richness of extract. Very good length.

Medium lemon yellow. On the nose: peach, lemon and violet.
On the palate clean peach fruit as well as new citrus aromas
like lime and lemon peel. Thus, a very fine and fresh drinking
experience despite a rather moderate acidity.

Medium lemon yellow. Initially almost discreet aromas of apple,
mango and lime. On the palate there is concentrated fine
fruit of apple and mango as well as lemon zest, mirabelle
plums and grapefruit. Well integrated flanked by lively acidity
in a medium-weight body. 13,5 Vol.-%. screwcap, €€

On the nose, a scent of yellow apple, lemon zest, pineapple
and butter notes. On the palate, a very clean aroma of apple
and pineapple as well as clove, vanilla and pear. All finely balanced
with lively acidity and a long finish.

Lemon yellow and almost clear in the glass. On the nose, a
scent of green apple, lemon and redcurrant leaf. On the
palate there is a slightly sweet fruit aroma poised by lively
acidity. The finish is accompanied by white pepper and star
