With its Grosses Gewächs “Stein-
Harfe’’, the Bürgerspital once again
presents one of Germany’s best Silvaners
– an icon and symbol of this grape variety
– to which one of our tasters attested a
“calm, mineral spirituality which allows the
stone to shine through.” The team surrounding
estate director Robert Haller yet again presented
an exquisite range of wines where the Rieslings
step further into the limelight along the Silvaners:
the “Hagemann” Riesling from the
Würzburger Stein site shows concentration and
site expression in a very smooth fashion. This is
Franken presented in the very best light!
and long. 13 Vol.-%. screwcap, €€€
