When Siegbert Bimmerle took over
the family winery in 1986, there
were six hectares of vines. Currently,
there are 135 hectares across an area
stretching 90km: they are in the northern end
of the subregion of Ortenau, via the Rench
valley, the Durbach valley all the way to the
southern Ortenau and into the northern end
of the Breisgau subregion. This extended area
of sites with different soils creates a plethora of
flavours. Cellar master Philipp Milke makes
fresh and precise wines. His “Réserve” range
scores with proper substance and complexity.

Initially restrained on the nose but after a few minutes, a ripe
scent of yellow peach, tangerine and lemon peel become apparent.
On the palate hazelnut, white peach and honeysuckle.
Exciting wine with a medium body, fresh acidity and a
good finish. 13,5 Vol.-%. cork

Medium ruby. On the nose, a clear scent of ripe cherry, blackberry
and clove. On the palate, the well-integrated acidity
balances these flavours as well as chocolate in the medium-bodied
wine. Ripe and fine tannins accompany the wine
into its long finish. 14 Vol.-%. DIAM

Ruby with slight brightening at the rim. On the nose a light herbal
note, raspberry and cranberry. On the palate, cloves from the use
of wood and further aromas of hibiscus and dark cherry. Ripe tannins,
finely-balanced acidity and a good finish. 13,5 Vol.-%. cork

Golden yellow in the glass with a scent of rose petal,
tangerine and lychee. On the palate also flavours of
grapefruit, lemon, bee honey and violets. The exotic fruit
sweetness is balanced by good acidity and a long finish.
Well-balanced wine, to go with food. 12 Vol.-%. screwcap

Pale lemon yellow. On the nose a medium intensity of ripe
yellow apples and pineapple. On the palate, a very fine
acidity that carries the above-mentioned aromas as well
as lemon zest, lime and ripe grapefruit very well. A slender
