What is fashioned ‘‘Römmerts Wein-
Welt” lies in Volkach in the loop of
the river Main, just a few kilometres
from Würzburg. A “WeinHotel”, 24
hectares of vineyards and a wine estate of
more than 100 years’ standing form part of
this wine world. You should not miss a visit to
the “WeinSensorikum”, where wine can be encountered
with all the senses. Where wine is
concerned, both the defined Silvaner and the
refined Riesling from the Escherndorfer Lump
site are most convincing. We wonder how the
new estate manager Christoph Ruck will further
exploit and interpret this site potential.

Powerful and spicy aroma, ripe apples, pears, also herbs,
quince and nuances of crushed rock. With good consistency on
the palate and density flanked by a powerful structure, fine
phenolic layer and skilfully integrated acidic structure. Clear

Ripe apple with herbs in the powerful nose, also mineral
hints from a hot vineyard site of limestone. Powerful structure
with a lot of substance and a lot of spice, also with power,
a lot of extract and density and with intense minerality.

Fine aroma of stone fruit, peach and apricot, papaya with
some leafy green notes and hints of fine spice. A Riesling full
of finesse with a slender structure and ripe, delicate acidity,
clear, juicy fruit, good extract. Subsequently, citric notes with

Scents of apple, citrus fruit, spring meadows and mirabelle
plums. Slender and straightforward on the palate, with a
nice spiciness and juiciness. A typical representative of the
variety and clear in expression, a Müller-Thurgau that can be
enjoyed by itself or as a good accompaniment to food.

Apple and pear in the defined and fruity nose, blossom and
fine spice and hints of Reine Claude plums. Juicy and with
fine sweetness on the palate accompanied by ripe acidity,
