“So we’ve decided on a new logo,
new labels and totally new design. Why? Because
we fancied it!” Well done. It is always a
good thing when work turns out to be fun. We
also note that this sense of renewal has not just
stayed on the surface: the Michel Family is converting
its vineyards to organic farming, they
have hired a young cellar master and have
strengthened their position with new vineyards
and additional wood ageing capacity in the cellar.
Can we taste the difference? Absoluteley!

Lavender, lemon blossom, yeast, rosemary, wet chalk. On the
palate driven and lean in equal measure, crunchy acidity, restrained
sweetness, juicy and dense on the midpalate, still
closed, with mineral freshness and yeasty finish.

Riesling trocken unfiltered
Shy on the nose with citric, yeast and lemon balm notes. On
the palate there is a supple structure, firm acidity, mealy
phenolics, medium-weight in concentration and good mineral
components. This is still a youthfully-introverted wine

lively acidity combines with fine, sweet fruit, the mousse is
delicate, clear and focussed. A sparkling wine that goes beyond

Cherry stone and herbs, restrained wood. Generous tannin,
but finely-grained, ripe and juicy, gentle acidity, mouthfilling,
beautiful clear fruit on the finish. The warm alcohol is
well-balanced by juiciness and extract.

Kiwi and gooseberry on the nose, juicy and elegant on the
