come with excellent water-holding capacity.<br />

The 44 hectares /109 acres have an incline of<br />

up to 3-% at an altitude of 75-100m/246-<br />

328ft. Facing south towards the river Main,<br />

the Hölle site is protected by the Taunus<br />

mountains and also benefits from the<br />

moderating influence of the river Rhine. It<br />

has rich soils of loess, gravel and clayey marl<br />

with some calcareous sediments.<br />
