Konrad and Monika Schlör started building
their winery in the Tauber valley in
1984 with just three hectares of vines. In
the 1990s Konrad Schlör started to fine-tune the
quality of his wines – every bottle, from simpler
every day wines to the top growths had to meet
his exacting standards. In 2010 the estate was
admitted to the ranks of the VDP and by now
they are cultivating almost seven hectares of
vines in the cool climate of this subregion. There
are few winemakers who know as much about
Schwarzriesling, aka Pinot Meunier, as Konrad
Schlör, but he also makes exquisite Spätburgunder.

Aromas of yellow kiwis and mirabelle plums scatter across
the nose, accompanied by a hint of nutmeg spice. On the palate,
the Pinot Blanc is slightly tart, has a strong acid structure
and a full body. Complex Pinot. 13,5 Vol.-%. cork, €€€
medium intensity and a fine acidity. On the palate, the wine is
velvety and slightly tart, nice Pinot style.

Slightly smoky, dark cherry fruit and a hint of lavender. On
the palate, it is still a bit edgy. The strong acidity and fine tannins
make the wine a good candidate for bottle ageing.
Strong in character now, a pure pleasure in a few years.

Schwarzriesling trocken
Raspberry jelly and fresh blackcurrant on the nose. On the
palate, a delicately bitter tannic structure. The acidity is the
same and lingers long in the aftertaste. All in all, a multi-layered
wine, you don't often have this level of Pinot Meunier in

Spätburgunder trocken
Red cherries and a slightly ethereal scent of thyme and an
aroma of fresh conifer wood on the nose. The body shows a

On the nose, the Riesling impresses with its pronounced
lime note, which is complemented by a lemongrass scent.
With good balance on the palate, the acidity makes a confident
appearance and a chalky finish remains, making it a
