It is remarkable what Stefan Bardorf manages
to get out of his three hectares of
vines every year. He has farmed them organically
and with much dedication since
2015. But Bardorf is no one-trick-pony. Not
only does he make bone-dry, so called ‘fränkisch
trocken’ white wines, like Silvaner and
Weissburgunder that go wonderfully with
food – a fact that can be put to the test at his
Gasthaus Löwen in Randersacker, he also
makes exquisite sweet wines like his Riesling
TBA from the Randersacker Marsberg site. If
he manages to keep this up, he is a contender
for a third star!

Ewig Leben Silvaner trocken
Fragrant spiciness overwhelms on the nose - delightful. But
at the same time rather chiselled and interwoven. Complex
on the palate, creamy and vital, perfectly balanced acidity
with nuances of exotic fruits, some tannins and pleasant

Very fresh aromas of ripe fruit peach and exotic fruit, pineapple.
But also here, as with the dry wines, not too loud. Multifaceted
and cool. Great acidity accompanies the extraordinary
sweetness, very good balance of the elements.

Present aromas of white blossom, pear, peach and herbs, but
also some ripe notes. All very restrained and complex. On the
palate there is a lot of texture and light tannins in balance
with acidity and fruit. Good length, an animating Pinot to

Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese
Blackcurrants and redcurrants , elderberry and bergamot on
the fragrant nose. Concentrated on the palate with clear viscosity.
Lots of power, but also dancing fruit. Harmonious and
with tension.Combines both aspects skilfully and in a delicious

Sauvignon Blanc trocken
Aromas typical of the grape variety which dwindle a little
with air contact then notes of gooseberry, cassis, tomato
leaf and fine smoke. Excellent balance of fruit and acidity
as well as texture and minerality. Lots of grip and animating
tension, Sauvignon Blanc with ambition.
