This Kiedrich estate presents itself unchanged
and in finest fettle: the Grosses
Gewächs from the Gräfenberg site
moves into a score territory that is usually reserved
for noble sweet wines. The Erste Lage
Turmberg displays a stature that is more usually
found in Grosse Gewächse. Last but not
least, Weil also presents an estate Riesling
whose juicy character leaves nothing to be desired.
We could also point you to the Spätlese
from the Gräfenberg which comes with 20 to
30 years of ageing potential. Wilhelm Weil and
his entire team deserve the utmost respect.

Discreet mineral notes, floral, orange peel. Complex, but still
undeveloped. On the palate almost astringent and dense, relentlessly
supple and mineral; an almost painfully dense offering
over a smooth-sweet foundation, with crunchy acidity
and impeccable balance. 13 Vol.-%, cork, €€€

Amber colour. Menthol, porcini mushroom, sultana and, with
aeration, more and more emerging herbal spiciness. Viscous
on the palate, balm-like, yet huge freshness, crunchy acidity,
intense minerality. Will live forever. 7,5 Vol.-%, cork, €€€€

Amber-coloured, clear. On the nose highly concentrated
dried fruits, apricot kernel, fir honey, acacia, sultana. On the
palate enormous volume, balsamic texture, held by virile
acidity, dried fruits, dense, big. Long finish - made for eternity.

Floral notes on the nose, mirabelle plum, sultana. On the palate
a lot of texture, elegant and dense at the same time, steely
acidity, accompanied by concentrated fruit. A giant in the guise
of a ballerina. Very, very long finish. 7,5 Vol.-%, cork, €€€€
