Vinçon-Zerrer is a new name in this
guide. Located in the west of Württemberg,
Benjamin Zerrer took the
estate over from his parents in 2017. His new
vintage impresses with its tasteful packaging,
is certified organic, hand-harvested, fermented
spontaneoulsy and bottled without filtration.
He even bottled his Lemberger “Hans & Gloria”
without adding sulphur dioxide. This has
resulted in wines that set their store entirely by
purity – especially the reds. Without any hint
of residual sweetness and dense with fruit,
they almost have a touch of austerity. A real
discovery.

Landwein trocken
Light woody tones on the nose, but not dominating with the
ripe pear note remaining in the foreground. Ripe, balanced
and typical for the variety followed by a good acidity structure
and fine phenolics in the finish. Lots of substance, good
craftsmanship and not at all polarising. 13 Vol.-%. cork, €€

Landwein trocken
On the nose very dark, very ripe, dense blackberry and black
plum, but in a pleasantly subtle way. On the palate, the wine
is kept in the dense and deeply fruity estate style. The alcohol
brings some spiciness with lively tannins. Potential.

Different name, different label, unsulphured. Slightly animalistic
scent with pure blackcurrant notes in the background.
On the palate, dense, dark berry, tannic, not complex,
but absolutely clean, very connected to the fruit. Consistent
and unadorned. 13 Vol.-%. cork, €€

Landwein trocken
Nose clearly more fruity and open than the estate's Spätburgunder,
with a darker black cherry tendency. Elegant flow on
the palate, integrated wood, kept calm and dense. Beautiful
fruit presence with a certain coolness. Pairs delightfully with

The majority of this blend is Portugieser, which has become
rare in German wine guides. Reductive nose with
dark berry fruit. A good impression of ripeness, pronounced
fruitiness, spicy blackberry and pleasant spice. Good value
