Wiebke and Tobias cultivate eight hectares
of vines on the Triassic limestone
soils around the village of
Lauffen am Neckar – and the Pinot varieties are
especially close to their heart. All the whites the
couple makes are charcterised by their maturation
in wood – apart from the carefree Muskateller.
They show good substance and are proper
gastronomic wines. There simply are no weak
spots in this portfolio: The Lemberger shows
power, ripe fruit and elegance and when it comes
to Sekt, these two just know what they are doing!
By now this estate can really be counted as an established
star on the Württemberg wine scene.

On the nose, ripe pear, melon and toasty aromas blend into
the powerful image. Soft on the palate with ripe acidity, texture
and beautiful spiciness. Shows power and volume of the
warm year, brings enough density and substance to convey

The aroma testifies to the ageing in wood followed by toasted
aromas, hay, some coconut, melon and ripe stone fruit. On the
palate powerful, sinewy and tightly-structured with clearly-defined
muscle, good density, volume and length supported
by ripe acidity. Youthful, with potential.

91 2018 »Reserve« Grauer Burgunder trocken
Powerful nose dominated by wood and toasty aromas followed
by quince, pear, fresh hay and ripe apple. On the palate
there is good volume, juice and also texture. Generous, but
can support its somewhat broadness. Gastronomic potential,
will evolve. 13,5 Vol.-%. screwcap, €€
91 2017 »Reserve« Lemberger trocken
Scents of ripe blackberry and herbs, followed by roasted coffee
beans, tobacco and black cherry. On the palate there is
volume, a powerful structure and good extract. Generous,
with powerful and ripe tannins without neglecting elegance.
89 2019 Gelber Muskateller trocken
Crystal clear with a fruity nose of mango, ripe apricot and
blade of mace. A lively and animating Muskateller with a
slender texture, lively acidity and fine spiciness. A picture-perfect
aperitif and enjoyable that can immediately
lift one's spirits. 11,5 Vol.-%, screwcap, €
