Presented with this wine range, one really
is spoilt for choice: it holds all of
Franken’s wine diversity, connecting
innovation with tradition. The “Grosse
Gewächse’’ presented here rest in themselves
and show good concentration. The “Frentsch”
convincingly translates the idea of a field
blend, while “Pure Grapes”, where whole, uncrushed
berries were fermented, underscores
the experimental character of the cellar masters
Armin Störrlein and Martin Krenig. The
superb Silvaner TBA from the Sonnenstuhl
site is the culmination of this impressive ensemble.

Aromas of mirabelle plums and delicate white flowers and
stone fruit. On the palate stimulating grapefruit peel, fine
and present acid structure, also with juice and power, good
concentration. A positive texture, long finish that persists for

Delicious cool nose of white blossoms and burnt sugar, plus
apricot and hints of pannacotta. On the palate crunchy acidity
and animating sweetness-acidity interplay, juicy and elegant,
with fine spice and minerality. Finely crafted, long finish.

Beautiful garnet red. Berry-like and slightly smoky nose,
cherry, also spices like cinnamon and clove. On the palate elegant
and smooth, lots of juice and freshness with harmonious
acidity, the elements are finely balanced with immense

Silvaner Trockenbeerenauslese
A clearly defined floral varietal spiciness, bread crust, smoky
limestone, stone fruit and herbal notes. On the palate vibrant
minerality, poised by penetrating acidity, subsequently very
sweet and also very viscous, caramelised almond on the finish.

Very delicate nose of freshly cut green apples and fine
meadow herbs. On the palate there is good balance and
texture, slender structure, dry in impression with the light
mineral notes providing accents, cool, fragrant and herbaceous.
