Brothers Reiner and Rolf Laudenbach
are behind this organic-estate in Frickenhausen.
One of them is an entrepreneur
in Hessen, the other is mayor, architect
and a manufacturer of cooling systems. “After
we shared pretty much everything when we
were kids,” they report, “we are once again in
the sandpit together, it’s slightly bigger this
time: it’s in the vineyard.” Stefanie Fröhlich, estate
manager and winemaker, knows her stuff:
all the wines taste fresh-faced and are not at all
contrived – the calmness of her Weissburgunder
and the juiciness of her Silvaner speak for
themselves. Absolutely convincing!

Spicy and floral notes on the nose, some leafy greens, greenhouse
aromas, mirabelle plums, yellow apple and spices.
Natural and calm on the palate, juicy and a soft acidity flows
into the compact texture; finely intergrated. Citrus fruit and

Silvaner trocken
Needs some air contact to open up, subsequent aromas of
herbal spice, flowers, apple and some yeast emerge. On the
palate concentrated in an elegant and juicy way, ripe apple,
soft and also juicy acidity, clear fruit expression. Spicy and
unembellished, yet elegant and profound.

Dense and spicy nose with yellow stone fruit, ripe apricot,
also floral notes of elderflower. Powerful and taut on the palate,
juicy and spicy with ripe citrus fruit; ripe acidity, salty,
mineral grip, with style and character.

90 2019 »Flurstück« Blauer Silvaner trocken
Ripe mirabelle plums, apple and pear on the nose, herbal
notes, apple peel and fine caraway. Blue Silvaner that
shows off its components; lots of juice, creamy acidity,
herbal spiciness and a sense of style. Powerful structure
that immediately evokes gastronomic tendencies.
