The origins of Weingut Höhn can be
traced back to 1696. For a long time it
was run as a mixed farm and today it is
under the management of Jürgen Höhn who
farms almost 21 hectares of vines. In 2017 he
managed to acquire parcels in the Erbacher
Marcobrunn, Hattenheimer Nussbrunnen
and Kiedricher Sandgrub from Weingut Langwerth
von Simmern. All of his wines show
great varietal typicity, his Riesling Kabinett is
playful and animating, the generous Spätlese
from Nussbrunnen is charming, the Spätburgunder
is monumental. An estate with real potential!

Sunflower fields on the nose, ripe stone fruit, apricot and
peach, subtle spiciness. Slenderly-built on the palate, good
varietal typicity, the acidity is ripe but vivid enough to give
structure. Clear expression, fine sweetness, citrus fruit on
the finish. 12,5 Vol.-%, screwcap, €

Ripe melon on the nose, pear, roasted chestnut, smoke and
herbs. Juicy and spicy on the palate, well-built and compact.
The acidity is ripe, the sweetness pronounced - thus harmoniously
balanced. Pure wine for friends with good taste.

Spätburgunder Auslese trocken
Concentrated aroma of ripe and cooked plum, blackberry
and cherry, juniper berry, beetroot, toasted aromas. Powerful,
yet soft on the palate with ripe acidity and strong alcohol
which is well-integrated. Monumental wine with a lot of substance

Rich nose with peach and passion fruit, also papaya. Almost
viscous on the palate, nice creaminess, underpinned by a ripe

Classic Riesling aroma with stone fruit, also some citrus
fruit, apple and floral hints. On the palate, the fresh acidity
and the residual sweetness become a good match. Slenderly
built, lean, citrus fruit again. Harmonious, well-proportioned
