Felix Prinz zu Salm-Salm is the 32nd generation
of his family to run Weingut
Prinz Salm – it is the oldest winery in
Germany which has remained in continuous
ownership of the same family. Those who expect
that this translates into hidebound tradtitions
are entirely mistaken. The estate with its
18 hectares of best sites between Wallhausen,
Dalberg and Bingen presents a wonderfully
alert range of excellent Rieslings – from complex
and profound Grosse Gewächs, via a
fruity and carefree Kabinett all the way to the
finely-chiseled and harmonious sweet wines.

Dark spicy and yellow-fruited, stone dust, some caramel nuances.
Ripe citrus and yellow fruit on the palate, juicy acidity,
tart and herbal hints, spicy minerality. Quietly powerful with
a significant length offering more spice, juicy fruit and rock
dust. 12,5 Vol.-%. cork

Dark spicy minerality, yellow fruit, orange zest. Flowing and
silky on the palate. Light yet firm and complex, stone dust,
dark tones, straight acidity. Juicy lemon, ripe yellow fruit,
dark spice and salty-herbal minerality on the finish.

Fragrant, pale wine with a delicate nose of black and redcurrants
and white flowers. On the palate, very harmonious balance
between sweetness and acidity, incredibly juicy and appetising,
long, fresh finish, great with food or on its own!

Aromatics of honeycomb, light caramel, candied almonds,
ripe peach, with hints of ginger developing. Good concentration
on the palate, the sweetness is elegantly accompanied
