What a successful debut! It was in
2017 that Claudia Dorn founded
her garagiste estate – in the truest
sense of the word – with the fruit from half a
hectare of vines. Now her production has
grown to three hectares and her portfolio now
spans to a textured Riesling, a Grauburgunder
“Orange light” and a full-fruited Lemberger.
She says that she founded her estate due to
“the love of wine, the vineyards and the work
in and with nature” as well as “the fascination
to make her own wines, develop her own
style.” We cannot wait to see where she goes
next.

A copper-coloured shimmer in the glass. Intense spontaneous
fermentation notes, herbaceous but also berry fruit scents.
Aerates positively. On the palate there are clear phenolics,
racy acidity, with juice and a striking appearance. Combines
the orange touch with fruit. 12,5 Vol.-%. screwcap, €

Medium intensity in appearance with a strawberry, apple peel,
peppery aroma. Good content, a layer of tannins, fresh acidity,
smooth base and good clarity in the flavours of full fruit, quince
and strawberry. Good mineral definition. 12 Vol.-%. screwcap, €

Scents of cherry, cherry stone, mint with peppery notes. On
the palate dense content with fine-grained tannins, simultaneously
also very juicy with ripe acidity, ample extract without
flamboyancy and very intense tactile mineral components.

Fresh aroma, citrusy and herbaceous, also slight spontaneous
fermentation notes and a whiff of mint. Balanced on
the palate with firm acidity depicting a very calm Riesling
style, dry, rich in substance, completely resposed and in
balance. Very good length. 12,5 Vol.-%, screwcap, €
