It is now more than ten years ago that Stefan
Huschle took over this long-established
estate with its memorable name in
the Ortenau subregion, thereby fulfilling his
dream of running his own estate. As it should
be for this area, he dedicates his energy to Riesling
but in no way neglects the red and white

Clear peach aroma. Very fresh and tangy. In addition, there
are discreet citrus notes and apricot jelly. On the palate, the
wine has a full body with a complex acid structure and a long
finish. A good example of site character with ageing potential.

Himmelreich Weissburgunder GG
The aroma is complex ranging from green apple to citrus
fruit and oak leaves, followed by discreet hints of vanilla. The
acidity has bite and makes this juicy wine fresh. A thoroughly
complex wine and rich in potential, but also already accessible.

Wonderful brioche aroma with defined and juicy fruitiness
followed by a hint of baked apple. The mousse is very soft and
on the palate the wine retains both a stony minerality and
the fruity nuances. 12,5 Vol.-%. cork, €€

Spätburgunder Erste Lage trocken
Macerated fruit, tobacco and plum jam, dark berries, discreetly
smoky wood influence. Juicy onset on the palate, with lively acidity,
starting with mellow tannins, a pithy Pinot from a steep site
that pushes back the smooth, "warm" motifs. 12,5 Vol.-%. cork, €€
Pinot-varieties, either. It is above all the Spätburgunders
we enjoy year after year. That is already
true for the “Granit” from Zell-Weierbach
which turned out especially well and can
be had for relatively good value for money. It
offers real drinking pleasure with fine aromatics
and resonant minerality.
