Brothers Jonas, Lukas and Philipp Seckinger
decided on a slower course and
have thus presented their top Rieslings
from the 2017 vintage again. “Since we want
to let the 2019 single-site wines mature for a
further year in barrel, we wanted to show you
the 2017 wines again, since the vintages are
quite similar,” the brothers report. We think
that this was a clever decision: the 2017 Rieslings
are on great form and what was presented
from the 2019 vintage raises our expectations.
We look forward to what will emerge
next from this Niederkirchen estate.

Fine spicy minerality, dark yellow fruit, firmly and elegantly
woven. Supple with depth on the palate, juicy-citric acid
structure, grippy minerality. Bright, ripe yellow fruit, lively
and fresh, salty acidity. Focused, calm, has traction.

Round, rich nose with ripe yellow fruit and juicy stone fruit,
dark caramel spice and a hint of petrol. Mouth-filling, mineral,
fresh. Fine grip and dark spiciness. Tapers on the finish towards
herbal, citrusy juiciness. 12,5 Vol.-%. cork, €€€

Complex nose. Rich, concentrated yellow fruit, stone dust,
petrol and yellow spicy-caramel hints. Chalky minerality,
juice, fine phenolic, herbaceous and nutty notes. Harmonious
interplay of components: deep, complex, mineral and pure.
