Weingut Leo Fuchs is one of the oldest
and most long-standing estates
in Pommern on the Terrassenmosel.
It has been owned by the same family since
1624 and is currently run by oenologist Ulrich
Fuchs. His eleven hectares in the strikingly
steep sites of this subregion bring forth powerful,
fruit-forward Mosel Rieslings which tend
towards the slightly sweeter side of the stylistic
spectrum. We like that the inherent saltiness of
the wines always appears behind that sweetness
– we can taste the Mosel slate. The estate’s
Vinothek, or wine shop “Pomaria” is a local
hotspot for vinophiles.

Scents of pear, some yellow fruit with pronounced aromas
and fine spicy notes. On the palate there is clear, fine-grained
volume, concentrated fruit, dried wild apricot, citrus peel
and lots of juice. A good citrusy-salty acidic finish.

fine interplay of sun-sweet southern fruit and citric acidity.

Complex on the nose, with ripe and sumptuous (yellow) fruit
also sweet apple and yellow pear. Warmth and crisp hints, a
powerful structure with well-integrated acidity and vivid
even accentuated sweetness. Concluded with a herbal spice

Mineral spiciness on the nose, slate followed by distinct floral
nuances, orange blossom and zest. Round and ripe on the
palate, distinct sweetness, also sweet and yellow-fruited in
flavour with subtle acidity. On the finish notes of bitter orange,

Bright yet deep on the nose with aromas of peach and dried
apricot. Juicy on the palate with sun-ripened stone fruit,

Fine spiciness on the nose, followed by mirabelle plums,
yellow fruit and a hint of candied orange peel and meadow
herbs. Round and flowing on the palate, balanced sweetness,
juicy with grip and balance. Stony-minerality on the
finish with a well-concentrated tensity and preserved lemon
