Kilian and Martina Hunn present wines
of substance, savouriness and proper
mouthfeel. The “Reserve” range in particular
demonstrates the couple’s skilful use of
wood, like for instance the original Viognier
and the layered Sauvignon Blanc Fumé. Those
who have the patience to lay these wines down
for a while will be richly rewarded. The Pinot
Noir also comes across with power and body,
lending itself perfectly to hearty food. The savoury
and elegant Auxerrois “Junge Wilde” is
our Falstaff-Tip. Sons Jonas and Patrick are
also raring to go, succession is thus secured.

Expressive aroma with ripe citrus fruits, passion fruit, papaya,
apple compote and lots of toasted aromas. Juicy. On the
palate there is lots of texture and spice, no lack of power and
substance, the balanced acidity carries into a long finish. Not

Intense and spicy aroma of blackcurrant and ripe, exotic
fruit, underpinned by strong toasted aromas and also a hint
of vanilla. Full-bodied on the palate and rich in extract, lots of
spice and a dash of sweetness, ripe acidity, concentrated and

Tangerine and yellow blossoms on the aromatic fragrance, also
apple and passion fruit. Compactly-built on the palate, firm structure
and good extract, the ripe fruit also enriches the palate, plus
spiciness, balanced acidity, juice and texture. A multi-layered
wine, pairs well with fish and vegetables. 13 Vol.-%. screwcap, €
90 2016 Pinot Noir trocken
Berry nose, cherry, raspberry, smoky notes, bay leaf, some
pepper. Great volume on the palate, broadly laid out with decent
power and texture, juicy and with balsamic spice, underpinned
by ripe acidity. Shows all the merits to accompany

Pear and Reine Claude plums on the nose, also toasty notes,
fine wood spice and roasted nuts. Opens juicy and soft on the
palate, along with a present spiciness, powerful structure
and balanced acidity, fine fruit sweetness in the background.
