Christian Luff is tattoed all over and likes
to present himself as unconventional.
His labels, too, are most colourful and
the back label reads: “Contains sulphites and
a little revolt.” This winemaker wants to show
that wine is not just for square folk. And indeed,
the content of the bottles has quite something
to offer. The blend “Blickkontakt” combines
spice and elegance, the Grauburgunder
presents itself with good substance. His red
wine “Red Barrel” pleases with its clear fruit
and animating tartness. And it goes on. Or, as
Christian Luff would say: “Viva La Vinificación!”

Blend of Grüner Sylvaner and Riesling, smelling of ripe fruit,
pear, apple, apricot and banana. Sweet Riesling fruit takes
over on the palate, controlled by a lively, spicy acidity and
earthy notes from the Sylvaner, a beautiful duet.

The nose already shows a lot of substance can be expected
here with some smoke, pear, quince and hints of charcoal.
Powerfully-built on the palate, marked by maturation in barrique,
dry, good extract and texture. Juicy and spicy on the

Ripe apricot and papaya on the nose, spicy and floral notes in
tow, leafy greens and lemongrass. On the palate, the ripe
acidity and fine sweetness combine well, a layer of fine phenolics
highlights the fruit. Charming, with good flow.

Spicy and floral aromas on the nose, ripe Mirabelle plum and
grapefruit. On the palate, the agile acidity provides momentum
and balances the noticeable residual sweetness. Juicy
and fruity, with attractive spice notes, good balance between

Blend of Regent and Dornfelder, aromas of black cherry
and elderflower, bay leaf and wood spice. Dry on the palate
with slender berry fruit, fine and animating tartness. Satisfying
