It is Michael Andres’ ideal to make wines
in perfect tune with nature – which is why
he works according to biodynamic principles.
During vinification he relies on gentle
handling of grapes and “minimally invasive
methods’’. This shows particularly in the
wines of his “N-Series’’ which is fermented
with wild yeasts and bottled unfiltered. His
wines are named according to his aims – “No
Limits’’ and “Next Level’’ – the results are
magnificent: the wines shine with balance and
structure. But of course his classics are just as
well-made, above all the tightly-woven, mineral

Clear, rich yellow. Multi-layered nose with ripe citrus fruit,
grapefruit and green apple, all with a mineral underlay, animating.
Taut and firm on the palate, fine phenolics, citrus
fruit, lots of spice. A tightly woven wine, mineral and long,
which clearly has further potential. 12,5 Vol.-%. screwcap, €€

Rich, deep and clear yellow. On the nose there’s a real depth
of herbal spices, ripe citrus fruits and hints of wood smoke.
On the palate there’s gripping acidity, a nice texture, quince
and tangerine fruit and a mineral pull. Good structure and
tension. Long - has potential. 12 Vol.-%. cork, €€

Rich, clear yellow. Spicy aromas including lemon balm, ripe
citrus fruit, shattered rock, smoke and vanilla. Generous and
full. Juicy on the palate with ripe, bright tangerine fruit and
fine acidity. Gentle phenolics create lots of tension. Burgundian
in style. Good length and potential. 12 Vol.-%. cork, €€

Clear, light yellow. On the nose delicate flowers, peach, red
grapefruit, mint, finely chiselled scent, stimulating. Fine and
sophisticated on the palate, fresh acidity, mineral underlay,
citrus fruits and spiciness. Elegant in structure and with nice
