This Winery can trace its history back to
1750. Yet, the Blesius family have set
their sights ahead. “Provenance has a
future,” they state as their motto. Indeed, who
could argue with that when the provenance is
as privileged as the steep sites of Graach and
Bernkastel. It’s from four and a half hectares
that Florian Blesius makes Rieslings with juiciness
and freshness, wines which are not overwrought
and just make you want to take the
next sip. The village wine from Graach called
“Tacheles”, for instance, is our Falstaff-Tip.

Beautifully animating colour in the glass, a fine fresh spring
fragranced nose with delicate white flowers. On the palate
refreshing and at the same time also oily, opulent and long
lasting without being filling. Long mineral finish with delicious

Very beautiful, striking golden yellow colour. Fragrant and
plump on the nose, already starting to develop with notes of
autumn flowers. Mineral and juicy on the palate, discreet
sweetness, a fine astringency makes this powerful wine a
good food wine. 13,5 Vol.-%. cork, €€
90 2019 Graach Domprobst Riesling trocken
Beautiful golden yellow colour. On the nose a fine floral
scent, lightly roasted almonds, spicy slate nuances and
fresh. On the palate a powerful and striking acidity buffered
by a delicate texture and fitting sweetness. Juicy finish of
good length. 13 Vol.-%. cork, €
92 2019 Graach Domprobst Riesling Spätlese
At first a little closed in the glass, then slowly citrus notes
are expressed, also lemon balm. On the palate, a delicious
freshness and almost sparkling acidity, which pairs perfectly
with the sweetness, the wine is incredibly juicy with depth
and offers wonderful playfulness. 8,5 Vol.-%. cork, €

Riesling feinherb
This wine is not as rebellious as the caricatured label suggests,
but it is a successful and immensely pleasurable
wine. Fresh and juicy, the fine, delicate sweetness supports
the body and makes you just want more!
