Oster: Winemaker Daniel Oster has no
trouble leaving a dollop of sweetness in his
wines if he thinks that it might just suit them.
The Weissburgunder “Schnüssbomb’’, matured
in barrique and grown in a bomb crater,
is formidable ‘somm candy’. His Riesling
“Fine” smells just like summer rain and enlivens
the senses. “Old knowledge, young ideas,
traditional ways and innovative approaches
all come together here,” quotes Daniel Oster.

90 2018 »Schnüssbomb« Weissburgunder
The aroma is characterised by barrique ageing, toasted aromas,
yellow blossom and ripe apple. Powerfully built on the palate
with good substance and noticeable sweetness and a firm structure.
The ripe acidity provides stability and dynamism. Special
character, sommelier wine. 13,5 Vol.-%. sythetic closure

Delicately spicy nose followed by the defined scent of summer
rain, pebbles with earthy nuances, and fine stone fruit.
Slender and delicately structured on the palate, fine fruit
sweetness and appetising acidity. Animating bittersweet finish,
a finely stimulating Riesling. 12 Vol.-%. sythetic closure
90 2018 Pinot Meunier trocken
Sour cherry and plum on the nose, also notes of mulberry. On
the palate there is clear cherry fruit and also plum with good
freshness and acidity, medium in stature and elegant in expression.
Finely extracted tannin and sensitive use of wood.

90 2019 Eller Pfirsichgarten Riesling Auslese
Smoky, bold nose of burnt sugar and freshly crushed green
leaves. On the palate sweet with citrus freshness but also
salty, a very exciting and animating expression, concluded
with a positive 'feinherb' finish. A wine with style and elegance.
