1.1. Objetivos de enseñanza:
Temporalización: 1 er Trimestre.
UNIDAD DIDÁCTICA 2ª: Geography.
1. OBJETIVOS DIDÁCTICOS.
Motivar a los alumnos y alumnas del grupo al inicio de una nueva Unidad didáctica, determinando el grado de
adquisición que tienen de las destrezas básicas (Reading, Writing, Listening y Speaking) y su competencia en
las diferentes habilidades lingüísticas y cognitivas, así como sobre sus conocimientos en las categorías
Vocabulary, Grammar y Pronunciation.
Reconocer y aplicar productivamente las diversas intenciones comunicativas y funciones (Objectives)
asociadas a la Unidad didáctica:
• Vocabulary:
- Talk and write about the earth.
- Talk and write about clothes.
• Grammar:
- Form and use the present continuous.
- Contrast the present simple and present continuous.
- Form and use the interrogative of the present simple and present continuous.
• Pronunciation:
- Pronounce the ‘about’, ‘colour’ and ‘culture’ sound (Phonetic Chart).
- Pronounce the ‘girl’, ‘heard’ and ‘prefer’ sound (Phonetic Chart)
• Reading:
- Read a short text about the Caribbean.
- Learn and use the following reading strategies: Key words and Guessing meaning.
• Writing:
- Write a description of their country.
- Analyse ideas and grammar in a composition.
• Listening and speaking:
- Listen to and talk about descriptions of pictures.
- Listen to and talk about descriptions and comparisons of people, objects and places.
1.2. Objetivos de aprendizaje:
Reconocer y producir el vocabulario (Vocabulary) programado relacionado con los diversos campos
conceptuales que se desarrollan en la Unidad didáctica:
• The earth.
• Clothes.
Aprender, conocer y poner en práctica las estructuras gramaticales y contenidos lingüísticos (Grammar)
programados en la Unidad didáctica:
• Present continuous.
• Present simple vs. Present continuous.
• Interrogative forms.
Identificar, reconocer y reproducir los sonidos (Pronunciation) programados en la Unidad didáctica, así como
los aspectos de ritmo, acentuación y entonación de las palabras y expresiones estudiadas:
• ‘About’, ‘colour’ and ‘culture’ sound (Phonetic Chart).
• ‘Girl’, ‘heard’ and ‘prefer’ sound (Phonetic Chart).
